Those are Patriot sidepipes. I bet you can get'em cheaper from Jegs with their free shipping.

$205 ($195 + $10 handling) with free shipping...

Default But ......

There's always a hitch.

Anyone put these on a 68 ?? with the stock 2 1/2 exh manifold.

here's the fineprint....
Again, these come with all mounting hardware (the bolts, gasketes, brackets and such), all you will need is to have these connected to your existing exhaust and then you're ready to cruise

I have patriots installed on my 74. I had custom mounts made by a friend of mine and used stainless steel flex pipe to make the connection and minimize vibration. The sound is good, a bit quiet but throaty.

good luck

I just installed a set of the Patriots on my 79. Deep throaty, very nice. Bought them from jegs $220.00 to my front door in 2 days. I modified the mounting bracket (straightened) to bolt to side frame behing the trim to get more ground clearance. Had old rusty douls that I cut and used 1-90% elbow and clamped right together. Took about 3 hrs.

Silver74vette and Evalu8r - did you hook up the sidepipes to your stock manifold or do you have aftermarket headers?

My pipes are connected to block hugger headers using stainless flex pipe.

Thanks, chris
