I just installed 8" bolts and dropped my car about 1.5". Looks good. Question is, does this mod change the spring rate? I'm (slightly) concerned as my exhaust is a lot closer to the ground now. If the spring rate is "softer" due to the longer bolts, will the car "bounce" over bumps?
Not yet. I plan on re-building the entire rear end soon(er or later). Looking at the trailing arm bolts/shims, there's NO WAY someone's gonna loosen those to adjust! One big rusted mass.
