Default Vett door handles..

I have memories of playing at my friends house when i was young, and i remmeber his fathers 1969 vert that he still owns today. I remember always loving the look of the car and as a child my favorite part was the doors/door handle that pushes in. Anyone else love the door handles on the c3? i think they are very stylish and i love the lines of the car especially down the doors and wheel wells.

Most people I hear comment on how "futuristic" they look. Which I guess is'nt that bad for something thats 20+ years old to still be considered hi-tech.

Absolutely!

The door handles on the C3 have always been one of my favorite features. They look very clean and aerodynamic and give the car a custom look. Much better than some off the shelf door handle or the crack prone handles on the F-bodies.

I'd put my appreciation of the handles up there with the 69 Charger gas cap (another classic touch).

STW!

It does add a certain touch of class to the car.

I like the handles, except my broken driver's side one

Do you think they designed the "can't be opened by children or females" feature on purpose?

I like them also until I had to replace the drivers side handle where the spring broke so the lock did not work. I ordered a new part from Ecklers but did not like the product so I took the new spring and stuck it on the old handle. Only two hours work..............Ok now I like them again!

Yes, the door handles are one of my favorite features. Right behind the side gills in the 68-9.
