Recognize this wide body kit?
I'm thinking about picking this up in a few weeks, odds are 50-50 right now.
Does anybody recognize this wide body kit, I think it may be a very early Ecklers kit.
I'm also looking for opinions of the car, it will need a little work. I know the purists out there won't like it, but that's to be expected. The top is not on the car, but it comes with the bows and new top, it just needes to be installed. The rear compartment needs to be carpeted, new carpet is included. It will need new tires, the car hasn't been driven a lot in the last ten years but it has been started often. It was driven recently with no problems due to it sitting. The exhaust tips would also need to be angled down instead of to the sides. Here's some pics.

it's a greenwood gt, turbo or ecklers turbo II kit converted to look like that (without the openings at the rear), there are many different kits (or there were) that look like that, some wider than others. ACI had a kit like that and it was used on the duntov turbo cars. I like the car in the pics, looks very nicely done.

It is nicely done, the guy that did it is now building himself two hot rods, '32 highboy roadster w/blown 392 Hemi and a '32 3 window coupe w/big block Chevy. He's a good fabricator. It was a frame off build and the bottom looks nearly as good as the engine compartment.

They're in the grill, the right one looks dim, I'll have to look into that.
