Edit, when you hit the [quote] button it brings op the full code instead of the display, so I can see that you have, indeed, included the [IMG] tags....

OK. You've got the wrong URL.

You've got:

I've got:

Wow. "It's a beaut', Clark!"

Seriously, that's one georgous 73. The yellow letter tires really make it. Nice, tight top, too!

That's not LOTAHP's car is it? Has the ncrs gotten to him and he caved in and sold out? Just kidding.
Your car looks great. I would bet you get a lot of thumbs up when you take it out for a cruise.

I really like the yellow lettering on the tires. What did you use?

Thanks for the compliments. I feel like I've been around Corvettes all my life, especially since I've owned 10 of them between 61 and 73, and sold them for 4 years (71-74). Not sure why this one leaped out at me and said buy me. It was for sale at Bloomington Gold 2004. Everyone that walked by it stopped to look, and I bought it the last afternoon of the event. I guess it was the "73" thing that spooked everyone. Since I sold them in 73 and had a new one in 73, and know how many improvements they made that year... guess that was a plus for me. It's a west coast car as well, and I knew I'd have to go a long way to find another #matching big block 4 speed convertible with 53K miles on it. This is a car that I would NEVER have bought in 1973. Production figures show this was the wrong engine, wrong body style, wrong transmission, wrong color, and wrong options. No a/c, no PS, no PB... just a big engine, 4 speed, radio and leather... just the way we ordered them in the 60s.

The tires were put on about 3-4 years ago, 2 owners back. His buddy worked for a Goodyear dealer and I guess these were some limited production tires, but they're actually gold lettered tires. If I ever have to replace one, I'm screwed... but I think u can still get these in white letters. I'd try and get some die to color the white I think. There's another thread in here about red stripe tires. I think u could successfully do the same thing to get whitewalls red.
