Roses on drivers side window

Roses on drivers side window
My 76 has roses etched into the drivers side window is this normal for a vette this year? I thought it must have been some chicks car that decided to customise the glass 
then I saw another early 80s vette that has the same etching. I was just wondering what the story is on the flowers.

Don't let these guys fool you! That was VERY rare factory option. Remove the etched windows and store them carefully in your basement/attic. You wouldn't want them to get damaged... Replace them with the less-desireable un-etched version.

CGGorman Ill sell it to you so you can have one of these ultra rare factory rose aniversary windows and be the envy of your friends. For the low price of $2600 Ill hook you up
I couldnt see the factory putting them on the glass. I guess thats just one more thing to add to the while Im at it list. Im still working on the rear end so it will be a hell of a long time till I get to the windows. Ill be saving for the zz502 after I finish the dif and trailing arms so the window will just have to stay down till I get to it

best window etching i ever saw, i was looking at buying a 79 trans am, and on both sides there was a wizard etched into the glass with the words "turn to sh*t" etched over his head. i nearly died when i saw that
