Default Removeable rear window for a '75

Is there a kit or aftermarket setup so I can give my 75 a removeable rear window? Are the windows of the 68-72s the same size as a 75 so I would be able to purchase the removeable window parts of an older vette?
Thanks

I am pretty sure that the set up from a 68-72 can be used on a 75. I don't know what is involved in installing one though but I kind of miss the removable window myself. The removable window on both my 69' and 72' Coupe that I owned years ago I would take out plenty of times and set it in the back tray. I kinda miss that and wish I had the set up in my 73'. I would look for someone with a wrecked 68-72. I never heard of anyone selling a aftermarket setup. Let us know how you make out.

I put one in my 76, one of the best things I have done if you enjoy driving. and Corvette people ask me about it all the time

I got mine from (get this) a 75 that had done the mod. I got everything from Dynamic Corvettes 1-800-752-3188 www.dynamiccorvettes.com

I think I paid $ 275.00

Talk to Steve the owner. they have a huge inventory of new, used, nos and buys salvage corvettes.

Its really easy to do and gives the t top vettes a lot more of the feel of a vert. its amazing how much of the open air experence you miss with that window in. The air flow feels great but in town you hear the traffic and the birds and all the sounds that people buy open air cars for.

I never drive with the t tops on or the rear window in anymore. I carry the window and a soft top (raincoat) just in case of rain.

It took me about 3 hours. most of the work is already done for you, when they stopped adding the removable window they did not change the mounting areas. you just remove the old window seal with a tile cutting knife, put in the new seal and drill 4 screw holes for the upper latches. the rest is bolt on. EASY... You will love it!

Vette Specialties www.vettespecialties.com is marketing a kit for this mod. talk to Alex, owner

Good luck,
John

I just got the window on Ebay for 120.00 + shipping. I ordered the rest of the parts from Doc Rebuild.
