front passengers side has developed a wicked squeak. I cannot quite pinpoint where though I believe it is in the upper control arm area. I push down and with the hood up it seems to be there when the control arm "rotates" the car has poly bushings but they have been on 5 years(4,000 miles) and this just started about a week ago. suspension feels tight and I cannot see anything that is loose or broken. what do you think?
my lower ball joint on the passenger side(where I hear the squeaking) has a torn boot with grease all over the joint. is it safe to assume the ball joint is bad and making the racket? if so, is their a better than stock replacement I should install? (the entire suspension was redone during resto 4,000 miles ago-should I change both lower ball joints?)
thanks, Dave
