Default Paging GTR1999 ... Gary

Gary,

Have a question for you related to reinstalling the side yokes. According to the Haynes manual, the side yokes as well as the pinion yoke should be installed at a 45 degree angle relative to a vertical line. Is this the correct installation procedure? Any other issues I should be aware of related to reinstalling the yokes? Thanks

Doesn't matter, I believe that refers to installing the rear end with the cover already installed in the car to aid clearence. I have a couple of old books that reference removing the rear end that way- bad idea.

... makes for easy removal/install of halfshaft/Ujoints - from what I recall.
