Default Rear Speaker

I haven't posted anything since about 1999, that's when I gave up restoring my 1971 Convertible. I now will restart where I left off....and if it becomes to much again I will sell it. Enough background,....

I remember seeing a thread on how to build a rear speaker "box" for a convertible (dimensions and supplies for 2 6x9's). Again I have a '71. Any info on where to find this info?

Will

Looks excellent
Dimensions and materials used would be great. Do you think there would be any difference for a t-top
Thanks

Nice work. I'd like the template also.

Hello,
I would like to comment on the difference between the convertible and the T-Top.

For a T - Top there might be some obstruction with the removable rear glass holder on models up to the 72. For the 73 there should not be the panel under the back where the rear glass would sit into. This shelf stopped me from installing the same speaker setup in my 73 that I have in my 72.

just my 2 cents worth trying to be helpful.

ok guys took some measurments , it just pressure fits in between wheel wells , it could be moved forward for the guys with t-tops if you have a place you need to store the tops. The carpet is from auto zone , glued it on with spray adhesive. this is the max size for the vert top to store correctly , I'm using the pioneer 5 way speakers , and pioneer head unit , no amp , and infinity speakers in dash , sounds great.
