Emission Decals
I have a 79 with a CA code emission decal...It seems impossibe but true the CA code is supposed to be on 77's but sure enough I read the decal again last night & the bottom line says 1979 in the faded print! It might seem trivial but I am restoring the vehicle back to where it was in 1979...any thoughts.
My 78 L-82 4 speed reads "DW".(Was an import from Arizona to California)...just got new decal...doing same....
BTW..mine says "this vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA regulations applicable to 1978 model year new motor vechiles" in bottom line...

The CA broadcast code is listed as an early L48 4-speed emission certification decal (P/N #14006780) replaced by the ZAF code. You probably have an early VIN production Corvette as well...check and let us know.
