My left front blinker is not blinking, and the indicator arrow in the speedo is staying on solid. I changed the bulb, and it didn't fix it. I check the fuses and they look ok. Is it the socket?

It could be that there is a bad ground connection....& a socket that is finished...use a test lamp with a good ground check the socket, if it starts to flash bad ground....if not your socket could be done.
Turn signal flasher is on the passenger lower dash pad. Just under the bottom edge. There is a sort of "C" clip that it snaps into. The flasher in the fuse box is for the hazards.

I turned on the hazards and the bulb didn't blink. The only thing not working was the blink element. The parking light works.
With the hazards on, I twisted and pulled the socket out of the housing and it began to blink. I reinstalled it in a slightly different twist position and it works. Thoughts? Will it go back to working for another 33 years?
