How long did it take to do the install?

It could be done in a couple of hours easily, probably less than an hour. I took their linkage apart and put never seize on all of the threads also. I took longer because "while I am at it" took over on me. I changed the tranny fluid and adjusted the exhaust system to give me more clearance near the tranny.

I thought those were part of the "Top Adjustment" procedure?

BTW, I've got that tape and haven't forgotten about you. It's at my shop and I haven't been back there in a couple weeks. Be patient.

The old pin will have a groove cut in it from the metal on metal contact over 39 years ( GM engineering ) which can make it a little sticky to get off and on. I don't think I put aback any spacers or washers either as they are not needed and I don't think there was any room for them anyway

I popped the spacer off and the linkage just dropped right into place. I adjusted the linkage at the clutch fork to have no slack. I have yet to drive the car but will post my findings after I refill the tranny and it quits raining. This thing should be a sweet setup.

Think you could snap a couple pics Eddie?

Lower Linkage

Upper Linkage

All of the parts in the kit. I did go over to grade 8 stuff for most of the install and added nyloc nuts.

I had no idea it was that dusty in there. I guess I need to spend some time in there cleaning some of that up.
