Default Needs some opinions on radaitor problem.

My radaitor is in need of replacement. It has sprung another small leak.
Problem is.... when I checked the fluid, there was some SMALL traces of oil on the inside of the cap. So im thinking,.... the head gasket is going aswell? I was trying to make the radaitor hold out till the NCRS show in January (Dewitts seems to offer his best deal at that time). Would any type of Stop Leak be recommeded to hold this over untill then? Then in the interm fix the head gasket issue?

i would worry about the flow going the other way....check your oil immediately look for white frothy foam.....what type of trans do you have ? could it be trans fluid? i would not use stop leak it just masks the problem and will cause you headaches later in trying to clean it out...

Remember if it goes in the radiator it also goes in the heater core.
