What did you use to paint your inner wheel wells? Mine make me sick evey time I look at them and this is a quick and inexpensive (I hope) project. I am looking for something that will hold up to rocks etc.
I masked mine off and used the spray on bedliner paint. Dirt and mud just seems to fall off of the stuff. I only used it on the inner fender wells though and used urethane black paint on the chassis and related components. When you just hose it off, it looks nice and clean.
how long ago did you do the POR and how is it holding up. just in the process of finishing my chassis. POR base then chassis black over that. just wondering what it looks like with use. i thought about shooting Eastwood undercoat in the wheel wells first, then topcoating with the chassis black. I think it will be durable enough to stand up to road grit. I HOPE!
GM undercar black for the inner fenders, and I used undercoating for the top part of it. only because I didnt want any rocks blasting the underside of my hood surround panel and cracking it
I used spray rubberized undercoating. It was on sale for .99 centa can and looked awesome when done. I belive that GUNK may have been the brand name. I scrabbed the wheel wells really well, maksed the fender and then spayed away. It does take about a day or so dray up really well, and dries to a nice semi flat black color with some texture.
