Default Hey Everyone newbie here

Hey everyone, I been lurking here for awhile and decided to post, As you can tell by my name I'm a die hard mopar fan, but do own a 80 red corvette, I bought without its original engine, don't know what happened to it, anyway its got a 400 small block in there with headers, it can really go..I'm also restoring a 1970 Dodge Charger, infact its going to the body shop in a week or two...anyway its a cool forum and I look forward to posting.

PS..My 80 has these dum wheel locks on them and I can't find the pattern to remove them, did the 80's have 1 type of wheel lock and where can I get it?

Heres a pic of the vette!!

Welcome to the forum, nice to have you on board. That's a sharp looking '80. Any tire shop or petty criminal should be able to get the locks off.

Welcome to the best corvette forum on the web. Lots of great folks here. I would think any big tire store would have a tool to remove the lug nuts for you. Give a few of them a call and tell them the car did not come with the correct tool. They may be able to help you. I have also read that some have used some cheapo socket and hammered into place and used that as a tool to remove the locks.
Either way, good luck and enjoy the Vette.

Grab an old socket that's a tad too small for the locks and hammer it on, if you do it carefully you can even do it without breaking the stocket, I removed 4 of those in less than 2 minutes.

Welcome aboard! This is a great forum and it is addictive! I have a Red 1980. With regard to Mopars, I've always liked hot rod Dusters. They're hard to find anymore.
