Was going to change the fuel filter today and looked up the filter type on-line. It looks like there are supposed to be 2 filters where the stock fuel rail goes into the front and rear of the Holley carb, is this correct?
Mine has an inline Fram G3606 before the fuel pump, do you suppose when the PO put the fram in he would of taken out the original fuel filters, or should I take off the fuel inlets and check for the old rock filters. If I replace the in-line filter can I eliminate the original filters if they are there???
not sure about holleys, but it is very common with Qjets to keep the little in-the-carb filter even when there is an inline filter. In fact, they came from the factory with both in 68 and 69.
