Default 71 BB stock exhaust
What was the stock exhaust on a BB 71? Was it 2-1/4? What mufflers?

2 1/2 inch stem to stern, 2 pieces each side, 1. manifold to joint under front cross member 2. pipe and muffler ( oem : Walker ) welded, not clamped

I've seen so people I know get a job done at the local muffler emporium on their vette's aging exhaust system. ack: the pipes by the rear end hang down too far and it looks awful. But they didn't want to play with it at home............
