Why is 71' fan and clutch different?

Why is 71' fan and clutch different?
Been trying to find a 5 blade fan for my 71' SB w/o air all the book list 68-70 and 72-82. What is different about the 71'? Can I use a 7 blade (for a/c) instead of the correct 5 blade?

I have a used, perfect condition, 5 blade fan that has been stripped and painted, with a brand new fan clutch with stainless steel fasteners for sale, I responded to your post in the "for sale" section already. New fans are ~$100 and new clutches are~$160. I am asking $150 US + shipping, I can provide pics if you want them.
