All The Vin And Casting Numbers Match But Some Of The Options On The Build Sheet Are Tough To Read.
There is no way to trace the VIN through GM records and it won't tell you much. It will be 194679S7xxxxx with the Xs representing your car's consecutive unit number. Nothing about original engine or options is included in the VIN. Your best option for determining your car's history is documentation provided by previous owners.
Sounds like a nice car! Unfortunately, as the others mentioned, unless you have some of the original documentation there's not much else to help you. One trick I saw somebody mention one time who couldn't read his tank sticker was to use a video camera with the "night vision" feature turned on. This guy claimed that he was able to make out portions of the sticker that he previously couldn't read by doing this. Sounds like witchcraft to me, but it might be worth a try!
