Hi guys,
I was wondering if you would give me some advice... or thoughts... Since my boy was born... (6 weeks old), I want a "hotrod" to take him AND the wife out in... I have always like the 1968-72 Nova. I looked around and this appears to be a good deal.. thoughts?

Anyone ever buy a car from this dealer? The salesman said the price has some room in it.... I like the color too... real 60's-70's color. Thanks.
I have not bought from them...yet...I have talked with (Craig ?) about a possible swap a few times. They seem to be a reputable outfit from the conversations I have had on the phone and email. The Nova is a good long term investment....Try to get it for an even 15K. In a few years it will be bringing Chevelle money ! Above all - have fun with it!
Don't know much about Novas but I have 4 kids 8 and under so trust me when I say the Corvette is the only way to go. That way they can't go with. Eventually you will want some time to yourselves, especially if you add more to your litter.
(I did see a car over the weekend where a guy had fabricated a mount for a child seat that looked like a mini roll bar. It looked trick but I didn't take any pics).
I would NOT be selling my body off 1970.. hell ... I just finished it. I hear ya on the Corvette with kids...
Technically I am looking for "technical" opinion on state of this car. ... anyone have a Nova in addition to their Vette? Is this technically a good deal?
I thought the same about a clone. The word clone kinda gets me too...
Good point Ruby... salesman is a salesman is a saleman...
Those who say overpriced clone haven't checked the price of a REAL muscle car lately. If it doesn't have any bondo and eveything underneath is solid (floor pans especially), I'd say it's not a bad price. Personally, I'd prefer a stick in it. It all depends on bow bad you want one. Actually, it's to the point now where not many folks can afford a non-clone car like that.
Hey Dep..
I looked at your pictures... really nice Corvette. Am I reading the dates correctly? You bought the car from Pro Team then immediately after took it apart???
WOW... I thought Pro Team Vettes were pricey but pretty much a turn key affair? I am not breaking your B@lls... just curious.
I really would like a BIG block Nova sitting in front of a manual trans... but as stated.. this is gonna cost about $25-30K. Remember when Muscle Cars were cheap? DAMN YOU BARRETT JACKSON!!!!!!

Well. I've seen some very nice "TRUE" 66/67 Nova SS for what there asking for this 69 and it would hold it value alot better, So I agree, it alittle to over priced.

Yep..bought it and tore it apart. Paid $16,000 for it. Car was in good shape. Originally had AC, but the compressor was missing. Everything else was there and worked.
Barret Jackson.....gads I HATE those a-holes!!! Their screwball prices make everyone thing they have a collectors item no matter what shape it's in. They have done more to falsely inflate the price of muscle cars than anything else. The ultimate muscle car for me would be a 1969 Yenko SC Nova with a L-72 427/450 HP engine. It would have to be a clone, of course, since they made less than 30 of them. 10.90 in the 1/4 mile
