Default c6r wheels

well im just about ready to bite the bullet and finaly get a set of wheels for my 69, but the problem is I really like the look of those new black c6r rims, and i was looking at the 18 by 8.5 but they have an offset of 6.95 inches and i think a stock wheel is 4 inches, so i was wondering if any one else here has put anything on there older vet that required a spacer or adapter as big as what i would need to run that wheel. and if you do have like a c5 wheel or something with similar offset could you post a picture cuz i love the look of the wheel but im not sure it will look right with all that pos offset. oh and if you havent seen the wheel heres a linkhttp://www.tomzwheels.com/O.%20E.%20ConceptsCorvette.htm
opinions please.

After seeing how well the C5 wagon wheels looked on SuperFast80's vette, I can't say NO. Maybe you could have someone photochop them onto your car in a digital image.

actually the whole topic is gone and I swear I posted it there, I had never opened this before so I think I posted the instance they removed it and my reply ended up here....there was some skin in the ebay ad/bikini post so that's probably why it was removed.
