Hi Pam
You should post this question in the C4 section. C3s were last produced in 82.

A Targa top is a convertible in which a rollbar is integrated into a roof support. Like a C3 T-top without the T part..

The C3 section is like a bar - women are always welcome!

Yep, one piece top, no center bar.

Glad to see another female Vette owner on the Forum. Were pretty much harmless here (at least if you avoid the off topic section). Convice some of your girlfriends to buy a Vette and come aboard! Welcome to the Forum!

STW!

Basicly just a removalbe roof panel. Some say one piece but, to me, can also be two piece. The Vette has T-tops. Wonder what the "T" stands for

Targa top
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
Targa top body style

Targa top, or targa for short, is a semi-convertible car body style with a removable roof section and a full width roll bar behind the seats. The rear window can be fixed or removable. The word targa comes from the 1966 Porsche 911 Targa (which itself was named after the Targa Florio road race), which popularised this body style, though the first production car with this system as an option was actually released five years before, namely the 1961 Triumph TR4.

In common usage, any piece of metal or trim which rises up from the side of a car and continues in an uninterrupted line over the roof and down the other side may be called a targa band, or sometimes a wrapover band.

Examples of the Targa car body style include:

* Corvette coupe (1984 - current)
* Ferrari 308 GTB
* Fiat X1/9
* Honda del sol
* Honda NSX - T
* Matra 530
* Nissan 100NX
* Nissan 300ZX
* Porsche 911 Targa
* Saab Catherina prototype
* Triumph TR4
