Does anyone have some pics of how they are running their plug wires on their 77's? What was the "factory" method for that year? Were there clips or something?
I have a feeling that bubba worked on this, and I'm not happy with the plug wires just half-hazardly strewn around.

Why not just run them down the side of the valve covers? Just make sure you buy a set of custom fit wires that you cut to fit. That way you can route them like you like it. See my wire routing in My Corvette Photos.
They originally went down the back and under the exhaust manifolds, with the front ones (1,2,3,4 I believe) routed through the motor mounts (sorry, no pics). A real PITA to do it that way, I agree with the above, get some nice wires and looms and route them above/beside the valve covers unless you an originality freak.
Your underhood layout looks really nice. You've done some nice work. Unfortunately, nothing special was done to my version, so I assume I'm working with stock, but I don't know what is really stock and what is really bubba-fied!
I don't mind running them over the top, but I didn't have any clips, and since I didn't know what we being used, I wasn't sure what to picture in there. Right now the wires run around the back of the engine and they are wire tied in key locations.
The best publication you can buy for your car is the Factory Assembly Manual (AIM) It's the same manual the factory line workers used to assemble your car. it's available through almost all the Vette catalog vendors. The detailed wire routing is in that manual.
