Default Quick disconnect

For longer term storage and a bonus point at judging I want to install a quick disconnect on my battery. Should it go on the positive terminal or the negative side, or doesn't matter?

Negative side. Always remove the negative side first.

That's so if you wrench accidently touches something else it doesn't spark.
When reinstalling a battery hook up the negative last. Again to prevent an accident.

I guess the have it covered. But I recently installed a disconnect and I think it is an excellent idea to do. Gives a sense of security (that it won't catch on fire and that it wont get stolen)

Thanks guys I wasn't sure if some power could still be connected on the positive cable. My disconnect looks different from Paul's photo, it has a plastic **** that unscrews, that lever switch looks like it maybe easier to use? The one I bought was recommended by Paragon for side post batteries.
