I won a trophy - amazed.

Went to the Moroso show back on July 10th. Very few "personalized" cars there so I was in a very small class. I can't get into the cleaning my tires with a toothbrush so I wasn't expecting to win anything. Anyway, the judges spent almost an hour on my car and I ended up leaving at 2PM (awards were being presented about 4PM).

So, imagine my surprise when I get home today to find a box full of plastic peanuts and a two foot high trophy labelled "Award of Excellence".

I have no idea what it means except I am probably going to get sucked into the show-and-shine circuit now.

BTW, it was a great show with lots of nice cars. Saw the Moroso project car with the 572" BB. All I can say is WOW.

Don't knock getting a trophy....I have three...one for second place in an autocross,another for 3rd place in a tough judged car show,and a first place in a low rider show..guess which is my favorite....the 3rd place one...whatever that means...
