How do I know if my 1977 is a 1st or 2nd design? How can I tell the differances and is one better or worse than the other? Thanks

All the 77s are fine. The alarm key switch was on fender & later was added to the door switch. The rad. overflow tank was redesigned. There were some changes in the wiring. Sometimes changes are made in prod. to make it better, so normally the last ones are better.

PS You can open the dr. side door & look at the sticker to see when it was made.
