Default Plug wire question

Best plug wires that will clear tall valve covers and still work with stock distributor? Also if anyone has a prefered hanger that holds the wires well away from the headers and still clears tall valve covers please let me know!
THanks

Good question...I'll be watching this closely as this will become an issue with me when I finally do my exhaust...I did buy some moroso looms that just attach to the valve covers, because my brother has something like that, but he has the short valve covers.

Buy a "make-up" set with 90 degree plug ends and run them down the back by the bell housing and underneath the exhaust manifolds or headers. Neat, clean, and out of sight with enough clearance to easily clear 2 1/8 primary tubes and ZERO wire burning. No unsightly 8 headed octopus hanging on the engine under my hoods. A picture is worth a thousand words, so under "My Corvette Pictures" to the left there is a Red 68 SS Camaro with the photo caption "454 LS7 Camaros Engine" that can illustrate how it can look. SB or BB same result .

I just bought the best wires made from Summit Racing.

Taylor Thundervolt 50 wires - made for over the valve cover.

For the last 5-6 years i've been using the Taylor 10.4 mm 409 pro race wires.

Both of them are Spirol wound.

That's how I run mine.
