Wouldn't it stand to reason that since fiero seats fit the c3 that these seats would also fit the c3? They look pretty ok and as expensive as seats seem to be these might not be bad. Im in need of something nice but affordable. Any thoughts?
It's your car, if you like them, do it. I don't think I like the red unless it matched your interior, but black wouldn't be bad. The only thing about this auction is that shipping is going to be twice the cost of the seats. Wowsers!
They are just "racing" seats from APC... See if Jegs or Summit can do better when shipping is factored in. I bet they can. Heck, might even try the local Autp Zone. They might be able to order them for no extra charge and the freight is much less since they fill an entire truck... eBay used to be a Mecca for bargain stuff, but now you gotta know your stuff or you'll get taken for a ride.
Stands to reason that they will if the vehicles listed in the ad are ones that the seat will fit into. But as Chris mentions, check with your local parts store, as shipping will break the bank on E-bay. Corbeau, Recaro, and Sparco are other aftermarket companies, each with a selection of seats at differing prices. I too am having a problem with forking over $1200 to $1500 for a set of C-5 seats for my '69 project, so if somebody has other ideas, post 'em up for the rest of us!
Looking at the specs from jegs these may actually fit. Does anyone know for a fact either way? If not maybe this weekend I'll do some measuring. Does anyone know someone thats used these and can comment on how they feel? I need seats but can't bring myself to pay for C5's or Corbeau and for $300 these might not be bad.
Anything over 19.5" wide at the base wont fit, will hit the bottom of the door panel and the shifter console, and anything wider than 21.5" at the shoulders hits the top of the door panel and the door wont close or it will push hard against the door panel and deform it.

I recently purchased C5 seats from a forum member with shipping for $550.00. These seats are in perfect shape but did not include tracks which is ok since I'm using my C3 tracks. The deals are out there, you just have to be patient and persistant.
I don't know if the FIERO is as tight as the vette but I just measured my fiero seats and they are 19" on the seat and 19 1/2" on the side bolster mid body. Picked mine up for $60 for the pair. WIth new leather should have under $700 in them total. Of course regular cloth would be half that.

I paid $650 for my C5 seats (base model, which I wanted) and sold my C3 seats on Ebay for $700+ship (and even padded the S&H by $35). My C3 seats where hand stitched with a much higher grade leather than you would normally see also with new padding (done 5 years ago & the drivers seat was starting to "break-in").
Be patient, I do not think you would be happy with those $80pr. seats. They look nice in the pics, but that can be very decieving.
The item description says that the seats are 21 inches wide. My seats measure 19 inches wide and are HARD against the console.
Are you sure our stock seats are 19 inches wide??? My stock 75 seats were 20 1/2 and hard against the console. I needed something narrower to make room for the lower bar on my 12 point roll cage so I modified the side brackets to make them 19 inches.
If they are in fact 21 and no wider they should fit. With that style of seat no way you can ever run a 6 point roll bar.
I'm suprised you guys are getting c5 seats this cheaply. What kind of shape are they in? If you're paying $550 for c5 seats maybe I could find some decent c4 seats for $350ish or maybe even a beat up set of c4's and put a decent cover on them. I probably be heading to Carlisle. Should be some good deals there right.
