I have struggled with this one and can't describe nor remember exactly how I did it but be patient. I bought a new on and from that figured out how the old one worked. I think you turn the lock to acertain position then there is a little plate that you push with a small screwdriver. Sorry can't remember more.

There is a whole in the side of the lock and you need to use a sharp object to press and the lock releases.
