Body men, how do I fix this?
It's not a C3 but you know why I'm posting here.
Its on both wheel lips of my daily driver. No rust thru, just severe surface rusting. Other than these two front wheel wells the car is solid.
How do I go about repairing this area. Wire wheel, coarse sandpaper? then what?

scrape all of the loose stuff off, sand it down with some 80 grit, then get some of that rust converting stuff that stops it from spreading. then you can finish it how ever you want(bondo, paint)

high speed da sander with 36 grit paper
upgrade to 80 grit, then see if area needs filler
if so, apply filler, after 15 minutes, shape with 36 grit by hand with holder.
sand in opposite direction with 80 grit to get 36 grit scratches to disappear. then 180 to get 80 grit to disappear.. 360 then prime.
400 wetsand, then re prime.. 600 wetsand, paint, clear..

though once you get all the rust grinded down and whatever plastic filler on,make sure you seal the work area with a primer/sealer or a wash primer then the primer /surfacer ,block sand to 400/600 ect
