Original keys gone.

That's why I'm thinking the PO replaced the drivers door lock and not the passenger. Anyway to make a short story long
I replaced both door locks so I'd have one door key for both locks.I knew this long ago but never posted. Problem IS, the center rear compartment has a lock on it and guess what?
Yep, the door key from the PO doesn't open it, like the passenger door.
How do I open the center compartment lock without the original key?
Don't think it'll help, but I did see Ocean's Eleven a couple times.

Start calling locksmiths and see if they have copies of the GM keys on the ring. This was very common years ago ( up to the late 70s or early 80s )
I used to work at a gun shop that also did security/locksmith work and they had a gigantic ring of old GM, Ford and Chrysler keys.
A good locksmith may be able to read the proper key depth with a pick.
