Default FOUND: Rattle in front end.

I found it. Two years ago I rebuilt my front suspension because it developed a serious vibration. All the bushings etc were worn out. I've put some miles on it without any issues until I replaced the front springs to VBP 550's. A month after that I noticed a small rattle from what I thought was the right front. I must have taken that damn tire off 100 times looking for something loose and every time I came up empty. Yesterday after taking the kids for a ride I got fed up and just laid under the front looking for loose and/or missing stuff. After wiggling, pushing and pulling on everything I reached up to pull myself out from under the car and just happened to grab the front license plate and I heard the noise that I've been hearing. I pushed on the plate again and then kind of strummed it like a guitar string. The plate was a little loose and rattling on the plate holder whenever I went over a bump. Just got back from my test drive and all is well. I am so happy I don't have to start taking stuff apart in the front again.

It's the smallest things in our glass vette's that seem to create the biggest rattles. I am still chasing them...I have one coming from the rear that I have not been able to find.

Have you tried strumming the rear license plate?

I'm not at the point of chasing rattles yet, too much other big stuff to fix first. Maybe someday....

I have a rattle in the drivers side door that makes me crazy sometimes. Its not always there but when its doing its little buzz,
Good to hear you got it and it was something pretty easy to fix.
