It don't get much better than a big mug of fresh coffee, your family still in bed asleep, FOX news on the tele. and corvette forum in your lap.

To me a good start for a Saturday is an early morning ride through the woods on my horse Strider.
Obviously a old picture.

Got up at about 4:30 this morning, checked corvette forum and then ran 5 miles. Followed by a cup of coffee with my wife and then back to corvette forum. The kids are on a 3 week visit with Grandparents!.

Norval,

Yesteday I watched a show on ESPN classics about Seattle Sluth. What an inspirational story about an underdog race horse. I was all fired up after watching it.

Woke up, put some shorts on and took the dogs for a walk. Come back in, check the forum and then run out to the garage. Gotta get ready for a cruise-in tonight.

Well, unlike some of you I slept in this AM. I'm on call 24x7 and try to catch up on my z's Saturday morning. Up here in NW Ohio, looks to be a beautiful day. I'm goin to put break pads on my PU, cut grass, pull weeds from tomatoes and shoot my bow a little. Might have a few . Good day to all

I got woken up at 4 am and had to go pick up a friend that had a big night ... it was funny though

Then I decided to stay up as I had a meeting early in the morning...followed by a fitness class, then some teaching and another class later in the day.

Then I did some work on my vette tonight......and had a great time Im excited as its running alot better.....so I feel relieved somewhat...as its going to my mechanics on Tuesday then I want to register it so I can drive it on roads legally (ofcourse I did some testing around the streets....but it aint the same).

and now Im trashed! (exhausted).

Hope you all enjoy your Saturday.

Got up this morning, ran 10 miles (I'm training to run in a marathon in October). Just finished breakfast with my two boys, read the paper, checking the forum, time to shower and head off for a 11:36 tee time.

10 miles? Far out! So, do you mind if I ask how long it took you to do 10 miles? Im impressed!
I need to get back into my fitness....and the corvette arriving has side tracked me even more.

Good work, and good luck with the training for the Marathon!

No but it is high performance. That little arab can run at racing speeds and has clocked about 850 miles as a race horse. I have between 25-30 thousand miles on him. I document every ride. I run with a GPS system to monitor average speed, distance and top speed.
Strider is all high performance and has covered 50 miles of rough torrain in about 4 1/2 hours.
Nothing feels as good between your legs as a good horse.
Well almost.

Norval, I'm starting to worry about you man At least you put the "well almost" comment in, or I would think that it was time for an intervention

Myself, I'm lazy, it's 1pm and I haven't even started working on any of the three cars around here that all need work done. Heck, I haven't even had any food yet and I slept until about 10:30 this morning. . . I think you old-timers all put me to shame

Fox News channel, the only news we watch.
Woke up today, and flew down to Lunken airport Cincinnati
dropped off my boss so he could pick up his
new c6 vert. Flew back home to Port Huron
landing at 130pm today. Missed the corvette
show at the GM tech center today in Warren Michigan.
