Default best sounding mufflers

Looking for recomendations for mufflers for an 82. Something with a deep tone and agressive sound.

Thanks

I just put on a pair of FLOPRO stainless steel mufflers and am very happy with the low tones at idle and the aggresive rumble when running through the gears.

I just put a set of Dynamax Super Turbos on my '80 along with true duals; I get the deep sound but they are not quite as aggressive as Iwould have thought, but OK with me ( I do not care for really aggressive ones);
At WOT they scream pretty good tho!

Dynomax Super Turbos. Just put them on. No annoying low resonance like the Flowmaster 40/50 series and nice growl at upper RPM range.

Anybody who has ever heard my Dynomax Ultraflos has had nothing but compliments for them. Sweet sound at idle, not too loud to hold a conversation at cruise, and pretty wicked at full throttle.

Anything from Dynomax. I've had the Bullets. They are loud and set off car alarms. I now have the Ultra-Flos and an x-pipe. Civilized until you nail it, then they sound off. Super Turbos are good too. Grayhook has them and they sound sweet. Like I said, anything from Dynomax...

I had a set of stainless steel muffers manufactured by IMC (International Muffler Co.) installed when I had a custom true dual w/twin cats system made for the '81.
They look and sound like a Flowmaster muffler, only they are made out of stainless. $195/each. Little pricey, but they are warrantied as long as I own the car.
That's my .02 cents.

The Dynomax Super Turbos are probably not "agressive" enough for you. I run those and they sound fairly tame as compared to most others. I think the Hooker Aerochamber Muffs would be a better choice for a "deep and aggressive" application.

I had Flowmaster Delta 40s on my 80... sounded great (from outside the car)... major headache inside (literally) when I would go on a long drive.

Switched to Dynomax Super Turbos... GREAT MOVE!
