Default A/C compressor shield

There are two up for bid on ebay now. # 7993021766. The guy gives his contact info in the add. These are the black ones. I bought 2 several years ago when he had both chrome and black, and got the chrome. I have one on my 67 and it does work and looks nice.

Not following, is there a question in there somewhere? or is it just a statement or maybe a product endorsement? Not really sure what is being said.

This has been discussed last week, the oil contaminating the underside of the hood and causing bubbles in the paint. Just a heads up for those who wanted protection from this happening.

Been thinkng about making one myself. Not for paint contamination but to prevent the underhood insulation from further 'erosion'.
