Default The choice is made

Well when I first came onto CF I told everyone that I wanted to get sidepipes on my car, but my fiancee really wanted to get a truck. Well the choice has been made and now sitting in my garage is a 1972 Chevy C10. You would think I would be dissapointed, but I really like the truck and hopefully someday I will be able to get my pipes. Here are a couple pics

Just think tax time is coming and use your refund for the side pipes!
Also, Nice looking truck!

Nice truck. Your car is still cool with or without the sidepipes.

67-72 are nice trucks. I like 69-70 grilles best, but like the 5 lugs and disc brakes on the 71-72s so I would probably like a 71-72 with a 69-70 nose.

That was exactly our thoughts. We looked at quite a few trucks, mostly 69 and 70, that either didn't have power anything or were just to far gone to help. When we looked at this one just on a whim it was too good of a deal to pass up. Little to no rust on it. The guy we bought it from had restored a couple of other vehicles and did a minor restore (if there is such a thing) on this truck. Body is really straight and engine was rebuilt about 30K ago and it has a small cam it it. Has power steering and brakes , which was really what put it over the edge. It has been raining here for 3 days straight so we haven't got to really cruise around in it yet, but as soon as it lets up we will see what she can do.

For a ’72 it’s a very clean looking truck. Hope you enjoy it. You still need to get the side pipes. I hope to buy myself a pair at Corvettes at Carlisle show coming up.

I liked my 68 but she's gone on to a different owner so I could bring home the c3

We picked it up on Friday, and it had been getting rained on all day before that. Also the lighting is a little dark because it was getting ready to start raining again when we took the pictures. But I'm sure it could also use a good polish too. As soon as the rain lets up we will be on it.

Awesome truck, that was pretty much the truck we were looking for. Orange, short bed, 69-70...now I know where to look if we get another one Is it power steering and brakes? And where are you located so we can arrange to pick it up
