Sway Bar brackets to frame torque
I just upgraded my suspension to the "street and slalom" package that is being offered by several (mine happen to come from VB&P)
This package included a 1 1/8th" front sway bar and a 3/4"? rear sway bar (new to the vehicle).
According to my service manual, the torque on the bolts is 120 in/lbs (which is 10 ft/lbs I believe) which just seems awfully light.
Can anyone confirm what the torque should be for both front and rear sway bar bushing brackets to frame?
Thanks a bunch.
PS. I guess normally I wouldn't car, but I guess the idea of parts randomly disengaging at speed just isn't as much fun as it used to
