i think the verdict is in, ill be putting a lt1/l88 hood on, now i just gotta find the parts and the money 
. I just got a 1k$ check to fix a "scratch" on my daily driver i got from getting hit by someone. just made me 1k richer 
if anyones got parts lying around let me know.

Whatever hood you decide on, just make sure it lines up well. Any hood can look bad if the leading edge hangs out in the wind. Hear are 2 examples:

As soon as I went with the airgap manifold I knew I was going to hit trouble, even with a drop base filter, so an L88 short hood its got to be (Still with the paintshop in my sig) and thats not a bad thing as I see it.
