Thinking of dumping the wife
Today, I came home early from work and took the wife out for lunch and a shopping trip. We came to an intersection and had to wait for a C4 to pull in from of us. My wife commented "I LIKE THAT VETTE MUCH BETTER THAN THE ONE YOU JUST BOUGHT". I told her I liked the body style of my 75 better. She then told me "IF SHE HAD HER CHOICE, SHE WOULD HAVE PICKED THE C4". And to think, I could hardly wait to get done with the resto job on my 75 so I could take her out to dinner. I recon I will just pick up one of my buddies and head to HOOTERS instead.

Well.tastes and likes are hard to define. I don't agree with her. C4 Corvettes are , by far , my least favorites..followed closely by the C5s. I haven't seen enough C6s to really be sure. I know I'd never buy one though.

i am sure you handled it much better than i would have. i would have probably said something like
"yeah baby, i wanted a C4 too. instead i got this so that i could still afford to take you out shopping and to lunch."
then i would have really stuck my foot in my mouth and said "i see your point, Corvettes are like women... newer is better."
... dont divorce her. asking most girls their opinion on Corvettes is like asking a guy what he thinks of the upcoming fall fashions.

Well,my wife is unique..she likes our C3 better that a 1987 C4 Roadster and a 1993 C4 we drove for awhile...hated them in fact...thank god they were just loaners...
