headlights go out
'78 L82/4spd. Need help on a problem I just discovered tonight. The headlights just all of a sudden went out and just as sudden, they came back on, twice, about fifteen minutes apart. It happened pretty fast (around 60 mph in the dark) but I think the dash lights stayed on and of course, dont know about the rear lights. Also the engine didn't miss a beat when this happened so, don't think it's a battery or alternator problem. My bet is the headlight switch. Think it's the original switch. Has anyone out there experienced this before? If the light switch needs changing, what can I expect while changing it? Thanks in advance
