When we purchased the 72 LT-1 w A/C car, a new, in the box, GM 7 blade fan (GM #465580) came with it in a spare parts goodie box. Can anyone tell me if it belongs to the LT-1? It does not look like the one on the car right now. If it does not apply to the LT-1....what does it go to? Any help is appreciated
Sorry this doesn't answer your question Bob, but since my fan is currently off my vette, I ran out and looked at it. For what it's worth I can tell you that on my '72 base 350 with A/C, the fan part number is #3991427 (stamped on one of the blades). It looks differen't than the one you have pictured as the blades do not have one of the corners 45'ed like your pictured one. I know, useless info but I was curious if A/C '72 LT-1's used the same fan as '72 base 350's w/ A/C.

Charles, thanks.....that sounds more like the one that is on there now. I will check the part # later. Car is stored offsite
check that part # again. I get nothing for that #, but 469580 is a 17" 7 blade clutch fan so I am putting my money on 469580!
77,78 vettes with AC.
PRNDL, You are correct about the part #......It is #469580
so, 77,78 Vette w A/C? I don't have a need for that Sounds like an ebay item Thanks....much appreciated
