Default Always get a tracking number

I will never order from this company again unless they make it right. I live in the country and have a fence around my property and a automatic gate. I also have some bad a** dogs. When I place an order, I want a tracking number so I know when to expect a delivery, I can put my dogs up.

I ordered seat covers and this company does not issue a tracking number, which I do not like in the frist place. I look out side today and see one of my dog with something in her mouth. I go out to see what she has, and it my seat covers. She has the box shread and seat cover everywhere. Man does this **** me off.

I don't blame her, I blame (1) the company that sent the covers and did not issue a tracking number and I blame Fedx from just throwing the box over the fence.

I was home all day, they could have blowen the horn, or put them on the out of the fence, but no, the person had to throw them over the fence.

I will be calling first thing in the morning and letting someone know how I feel about this, and my credit card company if they don't send new one asap.

Yeah, just tell them you didn't get it, don't tell them you dog got it. FedEx will have to explain where they delivered it.

Sorry to hear about the misfortune; however, the problem is not the supplier or shipper. That's the price you pay for having bad a** dogs. I doubt very much goldfish would have torn seat covers to peices. You want bad a** dogs fine. But don't complain when they tear things up. Too many people looking to put blame and responsibility on someone else.

ouch! I thought FedEx always required a sig. I know I had to actually sign a form that states I waived the signature confirmation and it also states where they have to leave the package if I'm not home (ie. porch, neighbors house, etc). They actually keep this on record. I'm suprised they would just toss it over. UPS might, but Im sure FedEx has a required sig on receipt (unless you waived). Sounds like they screwed up and owe you some new covers, if indeed a sig was required. Wow. That blows.

Well, I will disagree with you about that. How in the hell do you think it anyone fault other then then Fedex. What jackass would throw a package over a closed gate when it's obvious there's dogs it the yard.
What the hell do you think gates are for, maybe keep something out or something in. Duh. It the shipper responablity to make sure the package is delivered in a reponsible manner, what the hell am I paying them for, it sure as hell isn't to throw something valuable over a fence. Do you actually think that was good judgement? And to top it off I was at home, cars outside garage open. I've never had this problem with UPS, they alway blow their horn a coupe of times, if I'm not out there in a few mins. They will leave the package OUTSIDE of the gate. I have seen Fedex on more then one occasion, pull up in the drive get out and throw a package over the fence and jump in their truck and gone. Never ever have they tried to see if anyone was home by blowing the horn. I just happen to see them and got the package before the dogs did.

And when I have a traking number, I know to expect a deliver that day, the dogs are put inside so sh** like this doesn't happen.

Next time sh** happens to your package remember, it your fault, not the shipper or sellers.

And I'll tell you this, I'm going to call Willcox, and tell them what happen, if they don't make good on it, then I will never order from them again.

If I were you I would put a chest or Rubbermaid container outside the fence where the trucks pull up to, and label it deliveries. That way there is a safe/dry place for you incoming packages, whether you are home or not. Simple for you and spelled out to the delivery drivers.

Well, it's not like I live in a subdivison or along a busy street, noone come down the street unless their lost.

But thanks for the suggestion, I may do that and mark it FEDEX Deliverys for those jerks. Hopefully they can read, because they sure as hell don't have any common sense.

i dont trust fedex one bit about that crap.

just last year i orderd a 400 doller video card for my computer that was deliverd through fedex. ya, it was supposed to be signed for but the driver was lazy as hell. the sig for it looked a little something like this.

First name - P. Last name - orch p.orch porch

where did i find my very expensive and very new video card laying? on my porch

needless to say i was more then a little pissed at fedex for that one. any one could have walked by and taken the thing.

Did you expect him to climb over the gate and gingerly place the box on the ground. Then hang around for 1/2 hour or so to see it the dog would tear it apart.

I am not a delivery person but I think it would be reasonable for someone to think the package was not going to be stolen once the package was over the gate.

Many business and people think Fedex is reliable and responsible carrier.

So leaving the package outside the gate is better. It would seem that the chance of someone stealing it would be greater outside the gate than inside it. It sounds as though Fedex has been doing this routinely. If it was acceptable before, why should they stop. You state you seen them. If it was a problem, I would have made a point of meeting the delivery person and tell him to leave the package(s) outside the fence.

If they dropped off a package and my prized guppies jump out their fish tank and devoured the package, I will assume complete responsibilty. I do think calling Wilcox is a good idea. Perhaps they would be willing to sell you the item(s) at their cost and eat the cost of shipping.

Maybe next time you should leave a note (sign) that states info of what you want the fed ex driver to do instead of making him guess on what to do,maybe he diddnt see how big and out of controll your dogs are, those guys are not getting paid for there smarts!

mandm1200, your just to cool, you must work for Fedex, cause you make about as much sense has that jackass driver that deliverd the package, no common sense. Go check on your fish, wouldn't want your prize guppies to drown.

oh and by the way, the guy I spoke with at Willcox thought it was dumb of the driver to throw it over the fence also. Their going to replace them.

Just for clearification for everyone. I used to work for a shipping company and the way the signature works is:

Fedex Express (anything guaranteed overnight, 2 or 3 days by air) - Signature is required unless the sender waives it.

Fedex ground to a commercial/business - Signature Required but can be waived by seneder

Fedex ground to a home/resident - No signature required, unless sender request one which is an extra fee.

Oh and for the guy that had the signature p.orch, they do this when a signature is not required so that the customer will know where it is. I just thought I would clear that up for everyone.

I don't usually agree with the U.S. Post Office, but they will not deliver a package without a signature. Same with UPS. They attempt delivery 3 times, leaving a yellow slip each time. Fed-EX seems to be a little lax in their procedures. RC73...stick to your guns...the shipper and/or Wilcox owes you some seat covers...

Thanks Big G, I just spoke with Corvette America, they want to put the seat cover up tomorrow, but could not tell me when they would ship out the new ones.

Edited : Ernie from Willcox just called me, He's going to take care of it.
