T top headliner
has anyone recovered there t top headliner? the material on mine is comming loose, seems like the headliner itself is ok. just curious if you could pull off the old material and recover with something new

I tried at the beginning of the summer. I went to the fabric store and bought a roll of black vinyl. I used 3M spray adhesive and a hair dryer to heat and stretch the vinyl. It took me a couple hours to do and it looked fantastic. I left it sitting in the garage in a safe place until I could get to the other one. By the end of the week the adhesive had let go and the compound curves were pulling away. I got pissed and ripped it all off. I've sanded the headliner down and I'm just going to paint it black. Who the hell is going to see it? The tops are always wrapped up in the back.
