Door Panel Mounting Hardware
Working with my first set of Vette door panels for my uncle. It is a `72 and he ordered and received the screws and clips to remount the door panels. They originally used velcro on the bottoms to mount. He insists on using the new clips and screws but there are no instructions as to where to locate them on the door or door panel. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The L or Z shapped clips hook into slots in the door panel and fasten to the door forward and rear. Counter sunk holes should be in the metal portion of the door where they go. You might have to cut a slot into the new door panel for the clip to hook. Panel should be indented at that point. The velcro should also be attached to the new door panel. If not...check the AIM for location..

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I will give it a try tomorrow. My poor uncle has owned this car for many years and has been slowly bringing it back to a factory look from it customized show car stage it used to have. I will take some good digital shots and post them on here sometime soon. It is a beautiful car outside and the inside is underway
