Default Need installation instructions for hooker sidemounts

I need to see what holes they are bolted to in the frame so I know were to weld the mounting tabs. Maybe someone could scan them and e-mail them to me.

Why are you welding in mounting tabs if they bolt to the frame?

Just installed sidepipes on my 74. Bolt holes didn't line up. Had to mark spot with pipes on to weld studs

There are two tabs welded to the side tubes in order to bolt the tubes to the frame. I am making mine myself as to save some money and I like to fab my on stuff when possible. I purchased some stacks from the local truck supply house and I need to add some mounting tabs.

I did not think of welding studs to frame that will be easier Thanks.

The hooker pipes come with studs welded to a tab (1/2" X 1 1/2" plate) that you have to insert in the existing slotted holes in the frame. Twist them 90 degrees and tighten the nuts.... no welding required... easy to "copy" ... .... if you make these yourself it'll likely be a better fit than the Hooker sidepipes which require enlarging the holes in the frame to line them up

Thanks for the info RedBad. I should get the motor in in the next few days than I will be ready to tackle the side pipes.
