I finally took the big jump: Sold my beloved, faithful -64 Cadillac deVille, and got myself a 1969 Stingray. This is the model that I like best.
When I finally found one, that I could afford, I just had to give it a try.
The car needs a lot of work, but I will use wintertime to start with this.
You have a great forum here, and I already picked up some good advice. I am now waiting for my owners manual, to try to figure out the basics.
As a starter, the directional light is not blinking, and I have to find out where things are.
So, I guess you will be stuck with my "newbee" questions for a while.

P.S. about the directionals not working properly, could be something as simple as a bad bulb or maybe even a flasher ,,good luck hopefully a simple fix

Must be a typo guys. I checked his profile and it says 69 also. And it is definately a 69 and a nice looking one to boot. Must have been a brain fart. No biggie, we welcome you anyway. You have just found the best place on the internet for corvettes.

He never said the Vette was a '64. That was the Caddy. Funny how more than one person read it that way. I usually do that stuff.
If you're happy now, Just wait till you want to fix that one little thing and then you wind up with it taken completely apart and scattered all over the garage floor. Everyone here knows that is exactly what will happen
