I have several of their gauges on my vr-4. I really like them, never really had a problem. The only thing is if you want to configure some of them (like my EGT gauge) you have to touch the wires together and to do that you have to have access to the back of the gauge.

I've been having sparatic problems with my originals... am up against a decision to repair/replace original or go with Dakota. Any opinions?
I can't testify to Dakota quality. And the digital look I guess is a matter of personal preference or taste. Dakota is pretty expensive for a full c3 set. Classic Instruments and Auto Meter both have a strong following on the forum and amongst both racers and rod builders, and have the traditional analog appearance. Dakota is a direct bolt in. Some fabrication may be required to use Auto Meter or Classic Instruments gauges.
