Default shipping company for C3

Looks like I'll be making the move from WI to Fayetteville, NC soon and will need to get a couple daily drivers and the C3 down there. I was hoping to get some suggestions for shipping companies for the C3 that others have had good experiences with and also maybe some to stay away from. Also what were some ballpark costs.
Thanks in advance.

When I purchased my vette off of E-bay it was in Fla and Im in MD. I used the shipping company that E-bay had advertised. DAS!! It was a great experience. When the car was in transit I could click refresh in the tracking section and it would update as the car was moving north all the way till it was delivered!!!

I knwo who not to use... PC BEAR. I am about to post my very bad expereinces with them....I hope more people will charm in with GOOD experiences.

Pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News. Give a couple companies a call and see how thier service is. I found PC BEAR in Hemmings, what I have learned is that you can call Hemmings and see if they have had any negative comments. I wish I did that before sending my down payment.

Thanks for the responses. Please keep them coming.

A while back , maybe in the for sale forum, there was a member that did contracting for a shipping company. It seemed that everyone had good experiences and at a good proce. I'm not able to find the thread anymore. Does anyone remember seeing this?

These guys did a great job for me last year on a 57 Chevy from MO to Garner NC, cost was just under 1000 and it only took them a couple of days, great service and the car was perfect. I've used Horseless Carriage before also, great service but a little slower tham the other guys.

I've used DAS to ship two corvettes and Reliable to ship two. I was pleased with both.
