headlight vacuum relays
Ok so before I got the car, bubba took out the vacuum relays for the headlight doors and just left the hoses sitting there. A few weeks ago I ordered new ones, but them in, and after a lot of vacuum hose trouble shooting (control and supply lines for the switches were reversed, another bubba modification), I got the headlight doors to come up and down. But I have a problem: right now the relays are just kinda sitting in there, not bolted up where they should be. Do I have to take off the hood to bolt them up? Anyone know how to bolt them up ie. size of bolts/how many?

They bolt up to the header bar in front of the hood opening. Two small bolts each side, sorry I don't know the size. Maybe you'll be lucky and the bolts are still there? You don't have to remove the hood to do it. This picture is looking forward through where the radiator would be.
